Young People More Likely To Favor Socialism Than Capitalism: Pew

Everything we do is in a sense voluntary if u take into the fact that Christ has given us free will.... We volunteer to believe in Him, those of us that do. Soo its just as voluntary as believing in Him and doing the things he preached which you have to do to get to His heaven. When we stop 'volunteering'........ well then...... we'll find another heaven.

Young People More Likely To Favor Socialism Than Capitalism: Pew

Always thought capitalism was the best thing and America had to be the one nation getting things right but lately.... I'm still a capitalist (or preferable a social democrat) but capitalism need its checks and balances. Human beings are inherently greedy species. Republicans that decry regulations and all that are just setting us up for a very bitter life... This American dream will never be realized because those that already have it will see to it that no one gets it either cuz it will diminish what they have or just out of plain evil greed. A system where everyone is given the same opportunity and those who make the best of it go on and those who don't stay where they are (not dirt poor tho). A system that doesn't stifle creativity and intelligence but also doesn't hold certain ethnicities, races, social classes, income brackets back would be the best for all. Capitalism should not be defined as get get get keep keep keep don't give a damn person for a damn reason. Whether the government demands it or we do it willingly, we should all care about those who cant have the basic necessities and maybe a little more. It really won't take anything remotely significant out of us to give EVEN to a seemingly lazy person.

What a way to twist words. Jesus threw the money lenders because they were turning God's house into a market place NOT because they were lending money... Whats ur point anyway? Jesus does not like money lenders (banks, venture capitalists e.t.c.)? Money lending means money lending not giving money away for free. Lending usually implies interest so if ur logic is Jesus threw money lenders out because he did not like them doesn't that still fit the "socialist" view? I'm confused. Also give unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar, doesn't that fit a socialists view too? Give the government what the government asks for? A capitalist government wouldn't ask for much and leave stuff to the private citizens. What point exactly are you trying to use Christ to make? A christian cannot deny that the overall theme of the bible is others first before oneself/at the expense of oneself believing that God would reward you/take care of you. So if Christ were here today, chances are he probably would be a socialist or would advocate for a social democracy of some sort, certainly not capitalism as it is practiced in the USofA. He def wldn't be against the pooling of resources for the betterment of everyone. Note I did not say he would be against rich people.

Nigeria Christmas Attacks Kill At Least 39

Nigeria IS NOT a muslim land (I would know as I'm Nigerian and I'm currently here) Boko Haram is fighting to make it so of course. Don't get it twisted, when there's a bomb in New york say, we say there was a bomb in New York not like the whole US. People hear bomb in Nigeria and think the whole country is one big hot bed. The South South states r very peaceful. Its those crazy silly God forsaken northerners that want to kill everyone. Most of us would rather the country split in two so they have their Islam up there with Chad and Niger and leave the rest of us in peace but hey the oil is down south, the northern states dont have resources that are anywhere near as profitable... u think they're gonna allow a split

Rihanna Called N-Word In Dutch Fashion Magazine 'Jackie'

(Not restricted to black & white only, substitute whatever race you want in here) 2 wrongs don't make a right, granted, but I still don't buy this black people use it so therefore its alright for other people to use it. Why the heck do white people wanna be allowed to use the word anyway JUST CUZ blacks do. I don't understand it... you know the issue with the word so just DO NOT USE IT and save urself the trouble. Even tho I disagree with blacks using the term amongst themselves at least you can say there is a shared common history or whatever... where does a white person using the word come from please? Like whats ur thought process while ur calling someone the N word. At least amongst the blacks there's something shared... a struggle... they can make it whatever they want and you have to admit it doesn't hurt as much for most coming from a black person than it does from a white person cuz the truth is IT REALLY ISNT FROM THE SAME PLACE. Gimme 1 white person who uses the N word & means absolutely no harm. For blacks its so common (doesn't make it right) but yeah u get my point. I see where black people come from even tho I wish we didn't use it at all but where in God's name does a white person come from using the word. JUST DON'T USE THE WORD, it's that simple.
