He was responding, clearly he wasn't looking for a way to simmer things down. Yes she was absolutely wrong and insanely stupid for what she did but he could have simply thrown her out without hitting her or radioed and unruly passenger so he cud drop her off with the cops or something... there are so many ways this could have been taken care of. If we all go about hitting everyone who pisses us off however much they do how do you think life would be. And he's elderly! hasn't learned the value of patience all through his life! Now his 22 year career is at stake because he allowed a little 'demon' get the better of him.

our 'God' isn't going to come down and help those people when there are billions of fellow humans here to do so. This silly argument that all the bad things in the world just proves that there is no God is tiring. According to the Bible, God handed the earth over to Adam (& Eve) to take care of. When they sinned they handed it over to the devil. Humans were the original CEO's with God as Chairman Emeritus or something of the sort (with the ultimate power but not using it unless he's given full course to). When something goes wrong in the company, do you ask for the Chairman Emeritus or the flipping CEO who's supposed to run the organizati­on! Yes he can do whatever he wants being God but for Christ's sakes read the Bible and just see that he nearly never goes against human will cuz he granted it to us in the first place. So when things go wrong, look for the humans in charge and rail against them. There is a God in heaven but there is no magic that happens here on earth, we make decisions, to lie to cheat to go to war and to kill. God never has and never will come down with thunder and fire or whatever to stop a person from committing murder.
